7 Studios has released the first trailer for its forthmcoming music title, Scratch: The Ultimate DJ.
The video is the first to show the game in action, highlighting the “note charts” that will be familiar to anyone who has played Rock Band or Guitar Hero.
The trailer also confirms the game will feature tracks from some of the biggest names in hip-hop...and Black Eyed Peas.
Developer 7 Studios has cleverly turned to hip-hop legends for advice on the game with Beastie Boys DJ supremo, Mix Master Mike, on-board as an advisor. According to the trailer we can also expect tracks from Kanye West, Beastie Boys, Eric B and Rakim and Run DMC.
Scratch: The Ultimate DJ is due for release on PS3, Wii and Xbox 360 in summer 2009.
