As part of the fictional updates for the upcoming Star Trek Online, an 'interview' with Voyager crew member Seven of Nine has appeared on the Star Trek Online site, revealing probable future game content.
The interview takes place seven years after the last episode of Voyager, and centres around Seven's decision to leave Starfleet. Now known as her human name, Annika Hansen, she is described as looking almost completely human, although her characteristic directness is still very much present.
In what is very likely a hint at game content, Seven talks about her reasons for leaving Starfleet, namely the dissolution of the Borg Task Force. She insists that despite there being no further attacks from the Borg since Voyager returned to Earth, it is still a genuine threat.
However, she is continuing her work at a facility called the Daystrom Institute. There she is working to prepare against the inevitable return of the Borg.
Seven also talks about her "adopted" family, Icheb, another rescued former Borg drone who lived on Voyager. However when asked about Chakotay, now a Captain, she refuses to speak of him differently than any other Voyager crew members (the pair were known to have a romance while still aboard the ship).
There is also a reference to a legal case involving Voyager's hologram doctor, again hinting at future content in Star Trek Online.
