Runes of Magic Launches

Frogster has announced its free-to-play MMO, Runes of Magic, has now commercially launched as of today.

The first chapter of the game - Rise of the Demon Lord - is now available to play and players can explore the wonders of the Taborea game world.

The game had been in the open beta phase and early testers will be pleased to know they can continue to use the characters created in the beta. The game world has also been expanded since the beta and Frogster has also added an epic quest series and a host of new instances.

The Runes universe will soon grow even larger, with Ravenfall – a coastal area with “a distinct pirate flavour” – due to be added soon.

The game is available as a free download from http://www.runesofmagic.com/.

Check out our preview of Runes of Magic here. Three screenshots were also released to celebrate the official opening, as seen below.
