HanbitSoft, the publisher of Hellgate: London in South Korea and parts of Asia, has clarified again that it does not hold the publishing rights for the game in Europe or the US.
HGL recently received an update which went down well with players in Korea where the game is still thriving, however, fans here and in the US are still wondering if they'll see a return of the game. Servers in those regions were shut down on 31 January 2009 "for good", according to Namco Bandai, but updates for the game are still being created by a US developer, and news about the game is still being released in English.
Hellgate: London is a dark post-apocalyptic MMO which was released on 31 October 2007. It was developed by a team that included former Blizzard employees, people that had been behind the successful Diablo series.
