Fallout 3 360 Patch Improves Graphics

The latest patch for Fallout 3 on the Xbox 360 improves the game's graphics a little.

Digital Foundry reports that the newest patch doesn't just do preparation work for the forthcoming bits of DLC, but adds certain specular maps back to the game. This drastically improves the look of monsters and characters, it seems.

We liked Fallout 3 but weren't such big fans of Operation Anchorage, its first piece of DLC. We'll see how the second, The Pitt, stacks up when that's released sometime this month.
