Queen and Hendrix For Guitar Hero

Activision has announced a whole host of new tracks which will be added to the Guitar Hero: World Tour store this month.

First up is the third European Track Pack, due for release tomorrow, which adds “Break it Out” by Italian pop-punksters Vanilla Sky, “In the Shadows” by Finland’s The Rasmus and “C'est Comme Ça” by French pop rock duo Les Rita Mitsouko.

Activision will follow this up with another trio of Euro tracks on 19 March, adding “What Have You Done” by Dutch symphonic rockers Within Temptation, “Hier Kommt Alex” by German punks Die Toten Hosen and “Carolina” by Spanish rock outfit, M-Clan.

Jimi Hendrix will make a return to World Tour, with a three track pack also released on 19 March. It will include “Freedom” and “Angel” from the First Rays of the New Rising Sun album and “Foxey Lady” recorded live at Woodstock.

On 26 March, Activision will release the Queen track pack, which contains “Fat Bottomed Girls”, “We Are the Champions” and “C-lebrity” (from their 2008 album with Paul Rodgers, The Cosmos Rocks).

The month’s new content is rounded off on the same day with the release of the classic James Bond theme tune.

The three track packs will cost 440 MS Points on Xbox LIVE and £3.99 GBP on PlayStation Network. The tracks can also be downloaded individually at 160 MS Points/£1.59 GBP/200 Wii Points each.
