MadWorld UK Date Announced

Sega has confirmed that MadWorld will be hitting UK retail shelves on 20 March.

The game, the brainchild of Japanese studio Platinum Games, is a violent, comic-style, black and white action game which sees Jack, the protagonist, take on a group of murderous terrorists called The Organizers.

With exaggerated and violent mini games and a selection of weapons and items at your disposal, this another title Sega hopes will break the perception that the Wii console is for kids and families only.

Speaking to MCV, the game's producer, Atsushi Inaba, said that some people will probably take offense.

"I hope that gamers will appreciate the game as a form of entertainment and not focus on the irreverent violent content.”

As yet there's not been any announcement to when the game will be released across the pond or in other territories, but we'll keep you posted with any updates.
