The beta test of Sanrio Digital's Hello Kitty Online, the MMORPG based on the Hello Kitty universe, has been extended to allow for the charity event "Helping Hearts".
The beta will now stay open until 23:00 EST on Sunday 22nd February to enable players to take part in the Helping Hearts charity event, which started off as a Valentine's Day-themed event. Players can create virtual items of clothing that will be converted into real-life items and donated to an orphanage.
Helping Hearts kicks off at 21:00 EST on 19th February. Players create the items by teaming up with others to collect resources that allow them to craft the shirts and bags. At the end of the event, Sanrio Digital will donate the same number of shirts to the orphanage as there were made in-game. The three guilds that crafted the most shirts will be featured on the Hello Kitty website.
