A keynote speech given by Gabe Newell at the Design Innovate Communicate Entertain conference in Vegas last night let us know that Team Fortress 2 comics are on the way.
During a section about how companies need to realise that fans of a property are fans of the property in general, and not fans, specifically, of the product in terms of games, films, and books, Newell let slip that the team that worked on the wildly popular Team Fortress 2 videos, such as Meet the Sniper, are now working on Team Fortress 2 comics.
If the same level of self-knowing humour is evident, this could be a winner.
