UK Gamer In Street Fighter IV Record Attempt

Capcom has announced a British gamer will attempt to set a Guinness World Record by playing Street Fighter IV.

Zak Bennet, the UK’s premier Street Fighter player, will attempt to smash his way into the Guinness Book of Records Gamer Edition by scoring the most consecutive wins on Street Fighter IV.

The attempt will coincide with the game’s launch this Friday and will take place in the HMV store on London’s Oxford Street at noon. Guinness World Records officials will be present to adjudicate and, if successful, Bennet will be shortlisted for next year’s Gamer’s Edition of the world famous book.

To make things a little more interesting, the first person to beat Bennet will receive a 48” TV and home cinema surround sound system.

Lucky for Mr. Bennet that IncGamers has a prior engagement otherwise we would have smashed him to bits with Ken.

Street Fighter IV is due for release on PS3 and Xbox 360 this Friday and we think it’s pretty special. Check out the review here.
