Blizzard has just confirmed that BlizzCon gaming convention, Blizzard's own showcase event, will be held at the Anaheim Convention Centre, Anaheim, California between 21 and 22 August this year.
The BlizzCon event famously sold out almost immediately last year when tickets went on sale, and to respond to the growing popularity, the event will have one more convention hall to host it's guests.
“We’ve been amazed by the incredible response to each of our previous BlizzCon events,” said Mike Morhaime, CEO and cofounder of Blizzard Entertainment. “We’re pleased to be bringing the convention back to Anaheim this year, and we look forward to this new opportunity to meet Blizzard gamers from around the world.”
Last year announcements of StarCraft II and Diablo III dominated, as well as some pretty impressive competitions and choice quotes from big figures such as Jeffrey Kaplin.
