NCSoft has revealed that ArenaNet's Guild Wars 2 has been delayed.
According to NCSoft's latest financial report, ArenaNet's action RPG sequel has been pushed back to a 2010-2011 release window.
The latest figures show NCSoft's overall net profits were down 40% compared to 2007 but sales were up by 11%.
With regards to its latest MMORPG AION, which has now launched in Korea, the game will not appear in western territories until late 2009 and Japan/Taiwan in Q3 2009. A supscription model has yet to be decided for AION and NCSoft CFO Lee Jaeo Ho said it would be announced closer to launch and tailored to each individual territory.
