Scratch: The Ultimate DJ Tracks Revealed


Genius Products and Genco Interactive have revealed some new tracks set to feature in their upcoming music title, Scratch: The Ultimate DJ.

Developed by 7 Studios, the game will feature 60 original and licensed tracks from the hip-hop and R&B genres. The setlist will include:

  • Flashing Lights- Kanye West
  • Intergalactic- Beastie Boys
  • Let’s Get it Started- The Black Eyed Peas
  • Slacker- Tech N9ne
  • Don’t Sweat the Technique- Eric B. and Rakim

Additional music from artists:

  • Run DMC
  • The Gorillaz
  • Nelly
  • Deltron 3030

DJ legend Mix Master Mike, famous for his work with the Beastie Boys, has also lent his talents to the development team, offering creative and technical advice. The game will also feature music from Mike's upcoming album, due for release later this year.

"I’m honored to be featured on the Scratch: The Ultimate DJ setlist, alongside some of the most talented artists in hip-hop," said Mix Master Mike.

"It’s exciting to work on a project that gives fans the opportunity to create their own music using the turntable and sampler."

Scratch: The Ultimate DJ is due for release on PS3, Wii and Xbox 360 in summer 2009.
