Sega has revealed a new Aliens vs. Predator title is in development.
The currently untitled project is due for release in 2010, although no platforms have yet been announced for the game. The good news, however, is that the studio in charge of development is Oxford-based Rebellion, the team behind the stonkingly good Aliens vs. Predator, which was released on PC back in 1999.
"The innovative new AvP game presents an exciting opportunity for us. It represents a fantastic addition to our growing Aliens franchise and the reinvention of one of gaming's most cherished iconic titles", said Sega's Naoya Tsurumi.
"By adjusting the release of our other Aliens titles to accommodate it, Sega will ensure that every title lives up to the high expectations of Aliens and AvP fans."
