Star Wars: The Force Unleashed has won the Videogame Writing honour at the Writers Guild of America Awards.
LucasArts' title beat off competition from Bethesda's Fallout 3 and EA's Command & Conquer: Red Alert 3 to take the award, which was won last year by D3's Dead Head Fred.
The nominations were announced in January and IncGamers had the foresight (and by "foresight" we mean "blind luck") to predict the winner. While we weren't particularly impressed by The Force Unleashed's gameplay, its cutscenes were expertly handled and helped to weave a tight, dark narrative.
The WGA Awards took place on Saturday, with simultaneous ceremonies held at Los Angeles' Hyatt Regency Century Plaza Hotel and the Millennium Broadway Hotel in New York City.
