Velvet Assassin Gets Comic Sidekick

Southpeak Interactive has announced renowned animation artist Peter Chung will create an original graphic novel to accompany the release of Velvet Assassin.

Chung, artist on The Animatrix and creator/director of Aeon Flux, will produce a 15+ page digital graphic novel which will be given to a limited number of Gamestop customers upon purchasing the game.

Velvet Assassin (formerly known as Sabotage) is a stealth action affair based on the real life WWII saboteur, Violette Szabo. Players take on the role of Violet Summer, an Allied agent deep behind enemy lines who must use subterfuge and sabotage to hamper the Nazi war effort. Chung's story will focus on Violette's early years and how she came to spy for the Allies.

Velvet Assassin is due for release on PC and Xbox 360 later this year.
