Halo Wars Demo Out Now

The Halo Wars demo is now available for download from Xbox LIVE.

The demo, clocking in at 1GB, allows players to sample the RTS action, commanding either USNC or Covenant forces. The demo features an optional beginner and advanced tutorial to get gamers familiar with the controls and the first two campaign missions. Also included is one of the game's 14 multiplayer maps called Chasm which can be played in skirmish mode against the A.I as either the UNSC or Covenant

Microsoft's first non-FPS outing for Halo is being developed by Ensemble Studios and is set 20 years prior to the events in Halo: Combat Evolved.
