Bioware's RPG gets pushed back to later this year.
Originally scheduled for an early 2009 release on the PC, Bioware's Dragon Age: Origins has been pushed back to late 2009. The delay of the PC version is so it can coincide with the console version release according to Bioware and EA.
Bioware's Dr. Ray Muzyka added: "Dragon Age: Origins is shaping up to be quite amazing in its level of quality and polish. I’m really proud of our team, who are working very hard to make Dragon Age: Origins the biggest and most exciting BioWare game yet, and we will work to ensure it not only meets, but exceeds the expectations of our loyal audience of fans."
The delay is bad news for fans of the original Baldur's Gate who've been waiting for a sequel for many years now.
