Frogster has revealed it will launch its new free-to-play MMORPG, Runes of Magic, on 19 March.
Over 450,000 players have taken part in the game's open beta for the last three months, allowing the developer to tweak the gameplay whilst working closely with the fan community.
"Since the open beta test launch in December, the population of Taborea has soared and we have been working closely with our community to fine tune the Runes of Magic experience", said Frogster's Daniel Ullrich.
"We look forward to welcoming thousands of new players to Taborea during the next few weeks, as we get ready to fully launch Runes of Magic."
Runes of Magic is set in a fantasy universe and offers over 1,000 quests and six main character classes. Taiwanese developer Runewaker has apparently crafted the game "according to western MMO standards" within a time frame of three years.
