Sega has announced it will release its third person action title, MadWorld, across North America on 10 March.
However, according to Joystiq, the game is yet to be rated by the Entertainment Software Rating Board (ESRB), although it is expected to receive an 'M' rating.
MadWorld has already been approved for release by the Brititsh Board of Film Classification and Australia's Office of Film and Literature Classification. Developer Sega has worked closely with censors this time around, after its sequel to Manhunt was refused classification in Britain due to its violent content.
Last year, UK campaigner MediaWatch called for a ban on MadWorld, arguing that it should not be released on the family-friendly Wii.
