Halo Wars MMO Being Explored

Jason Pace, lead producer on the upcoming Halo Wars title, has hinted that there may be a Halo MMO before long.

In an interview with IncGamers, Pace says future genre expansions for the franchise is something that "was being explored."

"This is something that is very near and dear to my heart.  I joined the franchise because I feel really passionate about the Halo universe," Pace said.

"When you look at moving the franchise forward, there are many ways to tell those [background Halo universe] stories."

"There are many other avenues we'd love to explore, many of them I can't talk about right now, but we're certainly exploring all different kinds of ways to tell the Halo story."
