Midyway has revealed today that a new Mortal Kombat title is currently in development.
Following the sucess of Mortal Kombat Vs DC Universe, which has sold 1.8 milion copies to date, Midway has revealed that a new game is in now development.
"We're already hard at work on our next version of Mortal Kombat, andlook forward to being able to reveal more details in the future." commented Ed Boon, Mortal Kombat co-founder and creative director.
Mortal Kombat Vs Dc Universe has been a popular title for Midway as it became the most pre-ordered game in Midway's history and more than 3.6 million Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe matches have been played online worldwide for the PS3 so far.
"Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe was the result of countless hours ofhard work by many people, and seeing the game surpass themillion-seller plateau makes it worth all the effort" added Boon.
