Little Big Planet Leads AIAS Awards List

The Academy of Interactive Arts and Sciences (AIAS) has revealed the nominations for this year's Annual Interactive Achievement Awards.

The AIAS Achievement Awards are one of the more coveted awards for developers as all nominees and winners are voted for and selected by their peers. Leading the way this year is Little Big Planet with 10 nominations from industry leaders and members of the interactive entertainment software industry.

Other titles to gain multiple nominations include Gears of War 2 , Left 4 Dead,Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots, Fallout 3  and Fable II.

The awards will take place at the  D.I.C.E. (Design, Innovate, Communicate, Entertain) Summit on February 19th at the Red Rock Resort in Las Vegas.
