Halo Wars Goes Gold

Microsoft has confirmed that Halo Wars, the RTS title from Ensemble Studios, has gone gold.

Built from the ground up and exclusive to the Xbox 360, Halo Wars is based in the Halo universe and places the player 20 years before the story of Halo: Combat Evolved.

The demo will be available to download from Xbox LIVE on 5 February and you’ll be able to play two campaign missions, as well as being able to play online with up to 14 multiplayer maps.

Halo Wars is one of our most anticipated games of 2009 and we’re looking forward to getting our greasy mitts on it.  Look out for our review next week.
