Criterion has revealed details of the upcoming free update for Burnout Paradise.
The free patch, which is due for release on 6 February, includes some substantial tweaks and additions. Not only does it add the in-game store which allows you to purchase new content, Criterion has also tweaked the vehicle handling system. The dynamics have been changed on the early cars, like the Hunter Cavalry, in order to make the game more accessible to newcomers. These cars are now harder to crash, slower and less likely to spin.
Among a wealth of other changes, the update also adds the challenge restart feature which fans have been lobbying for since the game's launch.
