THQ and Relic have announced that the strategy sequel Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War II has gone gold.
The original Warhammer RTS from relic was well received by gamers and the sequel promises more gritty gameplay in the Warhammer 40,000 universe powered by an enhanced version of Relic's proprietary Essence Engine 2.0.
"Warhammer40,000: Dawn of War II stays true to the fast-paced, brutal heart ofthe Dawn of War series, while introducing branching single-playerstorylines and unique unit customization," said Tarrnie Williams,general manager, Relic Entertainment. "The deep, tactical gameplay letsplayers develop and lead personalized elite units who gain experienceand grow stronger with every ferocious battle."
The game is due for released on the 19th of February.
