EA will cut ties with Australian-based studio Pandemic Brisbane if recent rumours are to be believed.
Kotaku has been contacted by "a reliable source" who claims EA, which purchased Pandemic Brisbane in 2007, has decided to cut the studio loose. However, its staffers have not been laid off and the studio will retain its original intellectual property and its equipment.
"It was more of a 'Find a new publisher. Good luck.' kind of thing," said Kotaku's source.
The studio was reportedly working on a Batman Dark Knight adaptation which was rumoured to be plagued with quality issues.
