IncGamers has learnt that peripheral maker, Singapore-based Razer, has had to cut 10 percent of its workforce due to global economic crisis.
In an email from an undisclosed source, Razer stated it had to re-asses its “cost structure” confirming that some employees had already had their contracts terminated.
It appears that most of the work-force cuts have come outside of Asia, with certain emphasis on Europe, but this is unconfirmed.
Razer have long been one of the leading manufacturers of gaming peripherals releasing mice, keyboards and headsets designed for gamers.
We’ll try to get more information on this and keep you updated.
