Take Two has confirmed it will no longer publish Cryptic's MMO, Champions Online.
In a conference call to investors yesterday, Take Two's Ben Feder confirmed the decision. "We no longer intend to publish the MMOG Champions Online due to Atari's acquisition of Cryptic," he said, according to Gamespot.
With Cryptic now in a new stable, it seems likely the game will be published by Atari.
Champions Online is due for release in April 2009 on PC and Xbox 360.
