Square Enix has announced Chrono Trigger DS will be released across PAL territories 6 February, 2009.
Europe never received the game back when it originally released in 1995. Gaming enthusiasts either had to import a US copy, or listen to their North American friends brag about this ground breaking Japanese RPG. Chrono Trigger is heralded as one of the greatest RPGs, and is frequently noted on several publication's “Top x games of all time” lists.
President and chief executive officer of Square Enix, John Yamamoto, said “Chrono Trigger is one of the most anticipated Square Enix titles of 2009 and we hope for all Nintendo DS owners to experience this charismatic time travelling adventure,” according to a post on Electronic Theatre.
