New Mirror’s Edge Time Trial

DICE has announced that first-person action adventure game, Mirror’s Edge will be receiving DLC in the shape of a Time Trial Map Pack.

Nine races will span across seven new Time Trial maps and players will be challenged to attain the fastest times possible.

Available for 800 Microsoft Points ($10 USD or around £6.75 GBP), you’ll be able to explore the maps without any policemen, weapons or city.  It’s just you and the run.

“We deliberately chose a more abstract aesthetic that is still within our distinctive art style and then focused on flow and gameplay to create an experience and challenge very different from the main game,” says Owen O’Brien, DICE senior producer.

The beautifully crafted game allows for players to upload their best times to the online leaderboards  allowing friends to access their times and challenge them with their ‘ghost’ runner setting pace.

If you’ve not got it and would like to see what all the fuss is about then we suggest you look at our review for Mirror’s Edge.
