Last night on G4’s X-Play program Killzone 2 was given an official date of 27 February 2009 for the US.
While the UK has not yet been given a solid date, it’s scheduled for February as well, and will most likely be simultaneous with the US release.
G4 also has an exclusive video on the new multiplayer mode called “Warzone,” which is a mode that switches between different game types throughout the duration of the match.
