PlayStation Network’s video newsletter, Qore, will be free for everyone starting Thursday.
Paying Qore subscribers weren't happy considering they had to pay $2.99 USD (around £2.00 GBP) per issue or $24.99 USD (around £17.00 GBP) for an annual subscription, when most of the content eventually became available for free via video hosting sites.
Although there are some advantages to having a Qore subscription, such as exclusive demos, beta invitations, and the host Veronica Belmont, it wasn't enough to warrant subscription fees.
December’s episode will contain video content for upcoming titles such as Skate 2, Bionic Commando, Flock, and Codemasters’ Damnation, a post-modern “Steam Punk” themed third person shooter.
Also included will be a Killzone 2 theme, and for paying subscribers an exclusive demo of Capcom’s Flock.
