Petroglyph Reveals Mytheon

Petroglyph Games, the minds behind Star Wars: Empire at War and Universe at War, are developing Mytheon for the PC.

Mytheon will be a micro transaction driven game with elements of an RTS fused with action/RPG gameplay.

The game will be set up as an MMO with group, solo, and PvP focused content. There will be three distinct classes that can be customised with unique “power stones.”

Mytheon will be entirely free to play, but gamers will be able to purchase in game items such as double EXP potions, exclusive clothing, and “premium bundle packages.” A complete list of purchasable content will be released at a later date.

The game is set to launch in autumn of 2009 and registration for the beta will be available on the website sometime in the near future.
