Call of Duty: World at War has certainly shut Treyarch critics up with the recent offering of the game, but now there is talk of the DLC which will come in 2009.
The unusual content planned for COD: WaW will go beyond the single multi-player map-pack DLC for COD4. Speaking to MTV Multiplayer, Daniel Suarez, executive producer on the newest COD game said that they hope to fire out “potentially two, maybe three packs out before we’re all said and done.”
There is no more information on this, but Suarez did say that there would be a larger announcement at the beginning of the year which will outline, in more detail, the plans behind the DLC.
“I’ll leave it a little bit mysterious,” he commented, but we already know that it’s not going to be something that has been “done traditionally.”
What we do know is that there won’t be a cross-over from Modern Warfare to World at War and vice-versa, so let the speculation begin!
