Canadian voice actor, Micheal Rudder, took three bullets in the Mumbai India attacks and is now recovering in a hospital.
Rudder was enrolled on a spiritual retreat organised by the U.S.-based Synchronicity Foundation when he was attacked.
Bobbie Garvey, vice-president of Synchronicity told CBC News “Rudder was in the restaurant of the Oberoi Hotel when the terrorists stormed the building.”
After suffering the bullet wounds Rudder was taken to the hospital and put under intensive care. His surgery was successful and he is “very stable and healing at the moment,” Garvey added
Rudder made a name for himself in the gaming industry as the voice of protagonist Sam Fisher from the Splinter Cell series, but is also credited with roles in numerous titles such as Far Cry Instincts, Jagged Alliance 2, and Prince of Persia: Warrior Within.
