It’s been revealed SOCOM: Confrontation, the tactical strategy shooter from Sony, will be arriving in Europe “early 2009”, a little later than expected.
The game was due to be out this Friday in Europe, but unfortunately we’ll have to wait a little bit longer before we get our hands on it.
According to Eurogamer a spokesperson from Sony has confirmed and that the there is no reason for the delay.
Although the game will still be released in the North American territory, it’s rumoured to be buggy, something that will hopefully be fixed when the game gets to Europe.
There is nothing stopping you from picking up the game from the North American territories, as there aren’t any regional specific problems with the PS3, however, you won’t get that all important Bluetooth headset which is promised with the European release.
We’ve put a call in to Sony who’ve said they have nothing more to say on the matter and will let us know when it’s due. Then, as always, we’ll put it up here so you know too. How does that sound?
