F.E.A.R. 2 will not be making an appereance in Australia after the Australia Ratings Board blocked the upcoming FPS.
In a report on Gamasutra claims the game has been refused classification which means the game will not be on sale in Australia.
The Australian Classification Board and Classification Review Board have no other information why the game has been refused, but this isn’t the first time the board has refused classification for games.
Recent games which have failed classification include Fallout 3, Dark Sector, Silent Hill: Homecoming and Shellshock 2: Blood Trails. These titles finally did get classification, but only after content was censored to meet the MA15+ classification.
Although F.E.A.R. 2 is due to be released in February, it’s not been confirmed whether Warner Bros. will push for a classification in Australia.
