EA has announced the sequel to the Tony Hawk-killer, Skate, will be released in January 2009.
Skate 2 will hit shelves in North America on 21 January, with the European release following on 23 January.
The game is set in San Vanelona, a city recently rebuilt following a disaster five years earlier. The sequel allows you to arrange items within the city to create your own epic spots and, for the first time in the series, you can get off your board.
Skate 2 is set for re0 and RS3/ Checky e=dtext.amhgn: out the new screens here.
