Earlier today Square Enix announced it will be opening a new development studio in Los Angeles, California (El Segundo).
"We see great opportunities in North American and European markets, both of which are expected to be maintaining sustainable growth over these coming years," said president of SE, Yoichi Wada.
The companies first project will be an action-oriented game based on an original IP according to a job posting on Gamasutra.
