Halo Wars DLC Complete

Halo Wars’ DLC is complete and ready to go according to lead designer Graeme Devine.

In an interview with CVG Devine said that the DLC was “built in to the game design from the very beginning so we’ve actually been working on DLC all along.”

Instead of releasing all the content when the game is released, it’s been decided that DLC will be held back to “sustain interest” in the game.

"I think the thing with DLC is that, if you release it all, how do you sustain interest in the game? One of the ways of sustaining interest in a game is with DLC. So I think it it's there for that purpose and does a good job."

Devine hopes that the DLC will “add to that experience” and that the game already comes with a lot to offer.

Out early next year, Halo Wars will be another game that tries to bring the RTS genre to consoles successfully.
