Ben Mattes, Ubisoft producer has said that the new Prince of Persia game can expect “significant” amounts of DLC.

In an interview with Gamersyde, Mattes said that there are “plans for downloadable content,” but no more information was revealed.

"The intention is to do downloadable content that adds significant value, so I don't think you'll see downloadable content of a new skin or a new weapon or something like that.”

The art-style the game has adopted will continue and Mattes hopes it will be “copied in the coming years.”

Mattes also confirmed that there is enough of a backstory for the game’s universe and world to be expanded if needs be.

There is “no guarantee this will be a trilogy because clearly if the sales aren’t there, things can change,” continued Mattes, but outlined the importance of this game as a standalone project.

The game will be on sale for the 360 and PS3 from December 5 while the PC version will come a week after.
