Although CCP, developers behind EVE Online, have hinted they’re developing an FPS console game, their focus is firmly set on EVE’s next expansion.

The Icelandic developer commented in a presentation that it was possibly working on a “Halo-like” first person shooter, Eurogamer reports.

Although they’re working on something, and it really is unconfirmed what this is, they did comment that they do have a “game console strategy.”

The EVE Online world is different to any other MMO world in the sense of player feedback playing an exceptionally pivotal role in all aspects of the community from community regulation to lore and economy.

We’ll have to wait for the expansion to come out before we hear anymore, but we will keep you posted with more information as we get it.
