Japanese Fallout 3 Different

Bethesda has made changes to the Japanese version of their new game, Fallout 3.

One of the game’s side-quests is The Power of the Atom bomb, which sees your character make a decision to either detonate an atomic bomb and destroy a post-apocalyptic town, or to leave it and waling away.

This decision has obvious consequences for the gameplay, but the Japanese version has the option removed as it is “inappropriate” for Japan.

Although the Japanese audience has reportedly been slightly disappointed by this censorship, it was, to some extent, expected.
