Mines of Moria Downloadable Updater Available

Prior to the game's release on the 18th of November, Turbine has released the Mines of Moria Downloadable Updater for North America/AU/NZ players.

To save time, Lord of the Rings Online fans can now download the updater which will bring the game client up to date and facilitate the new content that's being added to the game. Players who are not purchasing the expansion will also need to download the update to accomodate changes to the game.

Points to note are:

  • This patch will only work for those whose clients are current as of today (November 7).
  • New players will need to install the game and patch through the normal patching process before applying this update!
  • TDM users do not need to install this update. Your client will automatically patch on launch day.
  • Thisfile will ONLY patch the North America/AU/NZ version of the LOTROclient. If you try to apply it to the EU version, you'll get an errormessage.
  • At the last stage of the update, the updaterwill display a dialog box that says "Launch The Lord of the RingsOnline: Mines of Moria" but will actually launch Shadows of Angmar. This issue will self-correct when Moria goes live on the Turbineservers.

The update can be downloaded from Nvidia and furtehr info on this update can be fouwnd on the LotRO website.
