It’s been revealed that Activision, in it’s pitch to take the rights for the Beatles’ songs, were too bullish and arrogant.
According to reports in Reuters, the Guitar Hero maker made their pitch seem “as if they were doing the music business a favour,” said Sony/ATV CEO Martin Bandier.
"It's true you can choose other types of music, and somewhere along the line someone's going to do it for free for the exposure ... When it comes to the Beatles, the leverage changes.”
