IGN Changes Fallout 3 PS3 Review
IGN have changed their review score for Fallout 3 after publishing the review for gamers to read.
IGN initially reported "Every time anybody on your friends list signs on or sends you a message (or any time you receive any network notification), the game freezes and the screen blurs for a few seconds." They also gave the PS3 version a 9.4 as apposed to the 360 and PC's 9.6.
Nothing exactly game changing because you can just play the game offline, but earlier today IGN removed the text from the review. Neocrisis was perceptive enough to notice the change and has ripped the original text and compared it to the new, revised review.
No reason is given for editing, it may be because the problem is not game related, but hardware related. Or is there a hotfix coming within the next few days to fix this issue on the PS3 and IGN was notified ahead of time?
Either way, we're not sure, but we do know that the review score has been changed and wonder whether this will occur anywhere else.
