Bethesda has asked websites to remove all Fallout 3 trailers immediately due to issues relating to the Entertainment Software Ratings Board (ESRB).
According to 1UP, the problem may be the level of violence included in the trailers, which feature popping skulls aplenty. However the ESRB's timing seems strange as the videos have been available on the internet since E3 in July.
This is not the first time Fallout 3 has courted controversy. First came the news that it had been banned by Australia's Office of Film and Literature Classification (OFLC), then reclassified, and finally censored everywhere.
Fallout 3 is due for release on PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 this Friday.
