Hellgate London, the first and last title out of Flagship Studios, will be shut down at midnight January 31.
Namco-Bandai, who picked up the operation of the servers after Flagship went under in July will keep the game alive until then free of charge.
Flagship founder and former Blizzard North vice president Bill Roper had high hopes for the game. Intending to deliver a Diablo-esque experience with some gameplay ideas and concepts of Half-life 2 as stated in an interview on GFW Radio. Unfortunatley the game didn't get the chance to live up to his vision.
