Spiderman: Web Of Shadows Out Tomorrow

Activision has confirmed Spiderman: Web of Shadows will be released across the UK tomorrow.

The multiformat title sees Spiderman back in the Big Apple battling against an invasion of alien symbiotes using both the classic red and new black Spidey suits. Also in the city will be a whole host of Marvel characters who you can fight alongside or against as you decide which missions will save mankind.

Activision's Rob Lostich has been talking up the all-new combat system in the game. "Spider-Man: Web of Shadows delivers the deepest combat system ever in the Spider-Man universe, whether it’s going vertical up the side of neck-breaking skyscrapers or web-slinging into action over them for high-altitude, high-octane aerial battles", he said. "The team has captured a truly captivating Spider-Man experience that combines mesmerizing combat and riveting visual effects with a compelling and unfolding storyline that places gamers in control of the action."

The game will be released on DS, PC, PSP, PS2, PS3, Wii and Xbox 360.
